I spent years in my childhood bedroom writing chiptune music, by myself. It was never really intended for public performance, and I mostly enjoyed the act of creation more than I had the need to show other people what I was making.
This is pretty similar to what I did with video games as well.
My music is now played by a lot more people, which feels surreal to me. I have a lot of memories making this music.
Electric Daydream Machine takes inspiration from math rock, jazz fusion, impressionist piano solos, acoustic guitar solos, video game boss riffs, and the modern chiptune scene.
