Orthography of babā

Stress
Accented syllables have a macron over the vowel.

Sandhi
Liaisons are notated with a hyphen.

Capitalization
There are no capital letters. Everything is written strictly in lowercase.

Punctuation
An interpunct separates sentences.

Poetry in babā does not usually contain any interpuncts.

Quotation marks are written in left and right corner brackets.
These are used for titles of literary works as well as quotations from other people.
