babā
agglutinative artlang for singing

babā is a constructed language, created for use in writing song lyrics and poetry with the intention that it would not be able to be understood by most people.
The phonology itself is designed to be smooth and airy; it takes inspiration from English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin, while the grammar used is somewhat foreign to those languages.
The syllable structure and word construction take inspiration from Japanese, scat singing, drummer-speak often found in the Western Classical Percussion tradition, and the Konnakol-influenced Takadimi system of musical rhythm.
In effect, this is a language that is designed to sound familiar yet unintelligible; drawing upon my own musical experiences and languages.
